I am pleased and excited to be the new Principal at the Lamoine Consolidated School, and I am committed to ensuring that you and your child have a wonderful experience here. Although I am new to Lamoine, I am not new to education. In 1993, I began my career in public education as a 6th-8th grade English/Language Arts teacher at Hancock Grammar School. In 2000 I began my administrative career as the Union 92 and later the RSU 24 After School Coordinator, managing 21st Century Community Learning Center grants and DHHS After School Grants, providing for numerous After School Programs within the district. In 2012 I became the Assistant Principal at Ellsworth Elementary Middle School.
I firmly believe that one of the most important aspects of my work as the principal of LCS will be to build solid relationships with students, families and staff. My goal is to ensure that all of our students are provided with the necessary tools for success. With the sincere dedication of teachers, earnest efforts of students, cooperation of parents, and the support of the community, we can create productive citizens and life-long learners!
I look forward to working with you and your child and making this year a great success! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
